- This chapter provides an overview of common page elements and terminology that are unique to the TeamConnect Admin area. See Records for general descriptions of application pages.
- Account Administration
- This chapter describes how to plan and set up users and groups of users for TeamConnect. A major consideration for organizing groups is determining which rights should be assigned. This chapter is organized by concepts you should understand before you can start the tasks of creating and configuring users and groups.
- System Administration
- TeamConnect system administration includes the initial configuration of Admin Settings and management of TeamConnect logs.
- Authentication
- Authentication is the process of securely identifying a user who is requesting a connection to TeamConnect. TeamConnect contains a facility for standard authentication, in which the user name and password are stored within TeamConnect itself. In addition, TeamConnect provides two plug-ins to accommodate two other popular means of custom authentication: NTLM and LDAP.
