Routes Rights

This guide provides an overview of Routes Rights that Solutions developers and administrators have to assign, as per the designation and responsibility of the employee/user.

The Routes area allows solution developers to manage routes (approvers, reviewers, process managers, and email notifications associated with workflow approvals). You must assign the appropriate rights for viewing and working with the Routes area. This section contains a table that explains these rights and their associated operations.

After you assign any of the basic Routes rights (View Routes, Edit Routes, Create Routes, or Delete Routes), the following pages will be available:

  • (from the Go To menu) Routes List page
  • Existing routes
For each route, the following tabs are available: General, Stops, and Email Notifications.

Before users/groups can view or work with the Stops tab, you must assign one of the corresponding rights (View Route Stops, Edit Route Stops, Create Route Stops, or Delete Route Stops); otherwise the tab will not display content. From the Routes area, the Stop tab defines required check points during an approval process.
