Authentication

Suite can be configured to work with the following authentication programs:

  • SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) – Allows Identity Provider (IDP) to use Active Directory (AD) or OpenLDAP as a username and password directory.
  • SiteMinder – Allows a Website to be secure and provides Single Sign-On (SSO) services for users between various sites in a domain that uses cookies. Users can authenticate once on the SiteMinder domain and access Suite without the need to re-authenticate.
  • LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) – Using either Microsoft Windows Active Directory or OpenLDAP as the network security provider. This integration includes eCounsel and Secretariat. Only single domain configurations are supported. For Suite 8.11.15.0 and above, LDAP is not supported.
