The LDAP integration with Suite includes the following:

  • Active Directory – Integrates with the LDAP interface provided by the Active Directory domain controller.
  • OpenLDAP – Because OpenLDAP is open source software, specific configuration settings are mandated in order to integrate with Suite.
  • Use of LDAP authentication for program login – Suite access authentication is performed against the user credentials contained on the LDAP server.
  • Distinguished Name Association – Suite Manager can be used to associate a user record with the LDAP Distinguished Name record. The user must be a member of the LDAP group designated with access rights to Suite programs
