Deleting a Lookup Category
A lookup category is a classification, such as entity type or address for a lookup code. System- defined lookup categories cannot be edited or deleted. Deleting a lookup category deletes all the lookup codes defined for the category. If a subcategory has been defined for the category, first remove the association with the subcategory before deletion.
To Delete a Lookup Category:
- Open Suite Manager.
- On the Suite Manager control panel, click the Lookups component in the System Configuration area.
- On the Lookups window, right-click on a lookup category and select Delete.
- On the confirmation dialog box, click Yes to confirm deletion.
