Once you have mapped a template user to a group, you can apply that user’s home page to all users in a group from the Home Page Templates component. During the process, any widgets and/or tabs on each user’s home page will be removed and the widgets and/or tabs on the template user’s home page will be applied to the users unless a user in the group has the Home Page Template Override security attribute set to Allow.

After applying the template to a group, you may want to set user’s Home Page Template Override security attribute to Allow for any users in the group who you want to allow to add additional widgets and/or tabs to the home page. Any subsequent updates of the home page from the template user will not apply to these users.

To Apply a Home Page Template to Users in a Group:

1. Open Suite Manager.
2. On the Suite Manager control panel, click the Home Page Templates component in the System Configuration area.
3. On the Home Page Templates window, click Apply Now.
