Dallas Release - December 2025

What's New?

Data Export

Data Export Enhancements

The Data Export Tool for Distributors now supports Amazon S3 as a delivery endpoint, alongside FTPs and sFTP. The Data Export Log has been enhanced with two new columns: Extraction Status and Transfer Status, allowing clearer visibility into job progress and delivery outcomes. Export Errors can now be downloaded for any job marked Completed with Errors, including historical exports. To learn more about these options, refer to the Distributor-Facing Data Export Feature Guide.

Form I-9

Consistent Font Usage Across Remote Section 1 and Amendment Pages

Employee-entered data on the Section 1 and Section 1 Amendment pages now consistently display in Roman typeface to enhance readability and user experience. Help/Hint text remains italicized, resolving prior inconsistencies in field styling.

Client-Side Validation Added for USCIS/A-Number Field

New client-side and server-side validations have been added to the “USCIS/A-Number” field on the Section 1 and Section 1 Amendment pages across Desktop and Mobile. When the selected Employment Status is Lawful Permanent Resident or Noncitizen Authorized to Work, and the employee enters their USCIS/A-Number, the system now checks for a valid 9-digit format and prevents entries that match the U.S. Social Security Number field, ensuring employees complete the Form I-9 accurately.

Added Auto-Resolve Section 1 Employee Email and Phone Number Error Configuration

A new error configuration, Auto-Resolve Section 1 Email Address and Phone Number Errors, has been introduced. When enabled, Errors 78 (Email Address) and 79 (Phone Number) flagged by the I-9 Resolve Engine are automatically resolved. Since these are optional fields in Section 1, most employers prefer not to incur the cost of scheduling time with their employees to correct these errors, especially if these are the only errors that are detected on the Form I-9.

Expanded I-9 Record Matching via E-Verify Case ID

The “Search for Existing Employee” feature now returns results across all I-9 record types when using the E-Verify Case ID filter. This includes the most recent E-Verify case that is associated with a Form I-9 record in addition to any previous/closed cases. E-Verify cases that are associated with Historical I-9, Historical I-9 Basic, and I-9 Resolve records are also queried ensuring more complete and accurate search results.

Enhanced Start Date Alert Conditions

Updated the start date pop-up alert to display only when the start date is more than 3 business days in the past.

E-Verify

Driver’s License/ID Number Now Shows Up to 17 Characters

The “E-Verify Are You Sure” page now shows up to 17 characters for the Driver’s License/ID Number field when presented, allowing for accurate review and correction by the I-9 Manager.

E-Verify Case Closure Reason Lists Reordered for Better Readability

Reason lists on the E-Verify Reason For Delay, Continue with Existing Case, and FNC Close Case pages have been reordered alphabetically to improve readability. The Other option now appears last, and associated input containers have been realigned and relabeled for consistency.

I-9 Resolve

I-9 Resolve Error Detail List View Report Now Includes New Columns and Worksheet

To improve usability and data visibility, the I-9 Resolve Error Detail List View Report now opens in Excel at cell A1 instead of cell AR24. Three new columns labeled Created On, Start Date, and Termination Date have been added with standardized formatting to provide clearer context around each I-9 record. Additionally, a new worksheet named Form Revisions has been introduced to display supported Form I-9 revisions in a structured and filterable table for easier reference.

Reports

Enhanced Retrieval Status Messaging in I-9 Custom Reports

The Retrieval Status column in I-9 Custom Reports now clearly reflects access outcomes when using the Search by I-9 ID filter. I-9 Managers and Distributor Admins will see Insufficient Permissions for restricted records and Not Found for I-9 IDs outside their client or distributor environments, both on-screen and in exported reports.

Updated Workflow Labels in Remote Access and I-9 Report

Replaced “1 Only” with Remote Section 1 Only workflow across the “Remote Access Forms” report and “I-9 Custom Reports” (UI and Excel export) for improved clarity and consistency. Also updated the column label “Remote Access Workflows” to Remote Access Workflow in the Remote Access Forms report.

API

  • The Create Client API (v1) has been updated to automatically populate default email field values when missing or undefined in the payload. This ensures consistent behavior with the UI and reduces manual input requirements.
  • System validation rules have been enhanced to block the use of “American Samoa” and the state code “AS” during Worksite creation and updates. All related UI references have been removed and attempts to use these values will trigger the standard error message to maintain data accuracy.

What's Fixed?

  • Fixed an issue where Section 3 email reminders were sent to users who no longer had access to the Employee Profile record.
  • Fixed an issue where the Risk Alerts report used an incorrect description, showing details about incomplete I-9s instead of curable and incurable errors.
  • Fixed an issue where I-9 Managers without E-Verify Access Permission 9.2.3 – Submit Duplicate E-Verify Case were incorrectly allowed to proceed past the Duplicate Case Alert page and submit a duplicate case.
  • Fixed an issue where saving email alerts caused the page to keep loading and eventually time out.
  • Fixed an issue where employers could not view or approve remote document inspection attachments when completing Section 2 for I-9s created via API with a start date before the MOU date.
  • Fixed an issue where remote representatives were able to complete Section 2 after the remote workflow was stopped.
