After creating a matter or entity types, you may want to copy the settings for the type to a new type.

To Copy a Type:

1. Open Suite Manager.
2. On the Suite Manager control panel, click the Types component in the System Configuration area.
3. On the Types window, select a matter type on the Matter Types tab or an entity type on the Entity Types tab.
4. Click Copy.
5. On the Matter Type Copy or Entity Type Copy dialog box, type a name for the new type.
   
6. Click on any checkboxes that contain information you want to copy to the new type. For matter and entity types, you can copy the type profile association and user-field profile records. For matter types, you also can copy the law area associations.
7. Click OK.
