To set .pdf parameters for reports
The Default Page Settings section lets you define the parameters that you want to use when generating a PDF version of the report:
- In the Orientation section, click the appropriate position for the report. Options are Portrait (default) or Landscape.
- In the Margins section, select the appropriate margin settings. You can use inches or centimeters by selecting an option in the Unit field. The default setting is 0.5.
Each Header and Footer area of the .pdf is divided into three sections. In each section, you can add one of the following options:
- Report Title
- Page #
- Page # of #
- Run Date
- Run Date/Time
- Logo
You can make a selection in one or more sections or leave all sections empty. Long lines of text will span across empty sections. For example, it you type a long string of text in section one of a header, and nothing in sections two and three, the text in section one will span across all three sections.
Note: These settings apply to graphic and tabular reports that are exported as .pdf files and reports that are set up to run as .pdf's on an automatic schedule.
