Deleting an Entity

The ability to delete a record is determined by the System Administrator. Users who have been assigned the Entity Edits - Restricted security attribute cannot delete entities.

To Delete a Record:

  1. Open the Entities module.
  2. On the Entities List page, select an entry in the list of entities.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. On the confirm deletion message box, click OK.

  5. If the entity cannot be deleted due to dependencies, you will receive a dialog box. Click Continue to delete all associated information.

If you receive an error, delete the dependent records before deleting the entity.
