INSZoom:-Reports Access in Corporation Portal (HR Portal)

Reports Access in Corporation Portal (HR Portal)

Here's how you can enable access to specific reports for corp users.

Within the new 'Portal Setup' module, granting reports access is easy. We'll look at this process for any type of report - including adhoc reports. Keep in mind that reports can be configured for a specific corporation, or for the default settings. In this instance, we'll demonstrate configuring reports for a specific corporation.

To begin, let's visit the 'Portal Setup' section:

From there, let's select the corporation we want to configure reports for and select the 'Customize Reports Access' tab on the left:

Here is where we will configure the reports access. To add new reports, we'll click the 'Add Report(s)' button and review the available standard and adhoc reports that we can grant access to:

For adhoc reports, you can click 'Preview' to see what the input/output columns for that report are.

Now we can select a few reports, save them and then select which roles we want to have access to these reports. The available roles come from those you have created for this corporation (or for default settings, if we were doing this configuration in that section). After selecting our roles, we save the changes:

Additionally, as our list of reports might grow, we can search for what roles have access to which reports:

The corp user will then be able to see whichever reports you've granted them access by visiting reports within the Corporation Portal:

As a reminder, since reports access is now granted based on a user's role, it's important to familiarize yourself where you can see that information. Go to Portal Setup >> Corporation (or Default) >> User Management:
