SharePoint API Update & DMS Connector Module v1.2 Release
IMPORTANT: This only applies to customers using Microsoft SharePoint with the DMS Connector.
Announcement
Microsoft has updated their SharePoint API Endpoints, restricting file uploads via API calls to a maximum size of 250MB per API call. This change aligns with Microsoft’s new cloud platform policies (Reference).
To adapt to this update, we are releasing DMS Connector v1.2, which enables file uploads exceeding 250MB by dividing them into manageable chunks and uploading these in a streaming fashion.
-
Example: A 1GB (1000MB) file will be split into 4 chunks of 250MB, requiring 4 API calls.
