Victoria Release - July 2024
What's New?
Form I-9
-
For clients who have the Employee Document Upload (EDU) and/or Remote Document Inspection enabled, I-9 Managers now have access to the Request Document Upload feature located under the Administrative Options menu on the Section 2 page. This new feature gives the I-9 Manager the ability to reset the EDU page and request to have the employee recomplete it. This functionality is needed in the case where the employee didn’t select their appropriate identity and work authorization document(s) or if they didn’t upload copies of the correct documents. This feature is only available if Section 2 hasn’t been saved or signed.
-
For customers with an integration that uses the IntegrationID field when creating I-9’s:
-
A new Integration ID field has been added as an available Search Filter when invoking a Search for Existing Employee.
-
-
Integration ID is now an exposed field on the Employee Profile record.
- Implemented a new Historical I-9 Basic record type that can be leveraged when needing to enter Form I-9’s into the Tracker I-9 Complete application that were either completed on paper or through another application. For more information on this new record type or if you have questions, please have your designated Support Admin reach out to the Tracker I-9 Product Support team who will put you in contact with the appropriate resource.
- For users assigned to the Distributor Admin role, the Export All Records to Excel report on the Client List View page now contains a newly added column labeled Distributor Name. This role is unique to partners who license our Distributor model.
- Expanded the logging of actions taken by I-9 Managers to better equip the I-9 Product Support team with answering questions and investigating reported issues.
- Updated the Import Tool to support the latest version of the I-9, Form Revision 08/01/2023. The Import Tool is used to consume Form I-9’s that were completed outside of the Tracker I-9 Completion application. Typically, these are Form I-9’s that were either completed on paper or through another application.
API
-
Supplement Distributor API Integration Guide: Updated the Create Client, Update Client and Get Client API calls to support the new Historical I-9 Basic record type.
-
API Integration Guide:
-
Updated the Create Employee Profile and Form I-9 and the Create Form I-9 API calls to support the new Historical I-9 Basic record type.
-
Added a new POST API call to capture Electronic I-9 Audit Trail data associated with a Form I-9 that was produced by another electronic I-9 provider. This API call is only applicable to the Historical I-9 Basic record type.
-
File Integration
For clients who license our file integration option:
-
As part of a client’s set up, we now support the entry of both individual IP addresses and/or IP ranges for whitelisting. This is applicable to clients who transmit their files via sFTP or FTPs.
-
API Key updates are now automated and recognized when processing files. Previously, update requests needed to be submitted to the I-9 Product Support team and manually applied.
-
Changed the processing logic associated with the Update Termination Date File Upload file layout. Previously, if any supported Id was used other than I-9 Id and if multiple I-9 records were detected and associated with a given Employee Profile record then the record would fail. Now, if any supported Id is used other than I-9 Id, AND if multiple I-9 records are detected, AND if there is only one active I-9 associated with a given Employee Profile record then the system will attempt to apply the Termination Date reflected on the file to the record.
Note that this change also applies to clients who have licensed our Workday ReadyConnect integration option.
-
Added a new Update Employee Profile file layout that supports updating one or more fields on Employee Profile records in bulk.
