Automatic Account creation template Mapping
Automatic Account creation template Mapping enables the user to create a budget for a matter automatically. TeamConnect allows for a high degree of flexibility in managing conditional application of budget templates.
To see the budget templates, Go to Admin → Budget settings → Templates. You’ll see the list of templates under Budget Templates. Click on the respective template from the list, to see more information about that template.

In order to create a budget automatically, the checkbox for "Enable Automatic Account Creation" needs to be selected (i.e. set to yes). If not, even if you've configured the parameters in the Automatic Account Creation Template Mapping, the budget will not be automatically created.
Automatic Account creation template Mapping sections enables to add more template mappings. Here in this example,whenever a bankruptcy matter gets generated, a quarterly budget is also created.

How the Automatic Account creation template mapping works:
Important note - when using a vendor level budget template, the budget will not be created until the vendor is added as an involved party on the matter with the correct role. Budget templates that are not vendor specific will create the budget when the matter is created.

To create a matter, go to the Matters tab → Click New Matter.

Fill the relevant information related to the matter such a s follows:
- Name
- Matter description
- Select relevant categories
- Populate any required fields
- Select Assignees and Roles
And save the matter.

Go to the Parties → Under Involved Parties click New → New Involved Party.

Fill the relevant information related to the matter such a s follows:
- Contact
- Default Role
And save the Involved Party created.
The involved party rule created in the Object definition rule enables us to create budgets automatically for vendors.This rule works by looking at the same table that we looked at in budget settings. When you go to the financials tab, you ‘ll get to see the quarterly budget created for that firm based on the rules set.
Automatic Enforcement template mapping
Automatic Enforcement allows controlling which template is used under specific conditions, but does not create the budget automatically. For example, if automatic enforcement is used for bankruptcy matters, then only the Quarterly template will be allowed.
