Tab
A user interface element that is displayed at the top of record screens. When clicked, each tab opens a new set of information from the record.
In the end-user interface, all tabs in object Records are defined using the Search Views in the object definitions. When you define tabs, you must add at least one Block in order for the tab to be displayed on the screen.
Tag
An instruction that is included in an HTML or XML file. The instruction is enclosed between the greater than (>) and less than symbols (<), also known as angled brackets. You use tags when creating Blocks, or Document Templates.
Tag Attribute
A value that modifies an HTML or XML tag. For example, if you want to specify that a number field is formatted to display as a dollar amount in a form, you would use the attribute format="DOLLAR"
.

Tap Client Secret
A TAP Client Secret is a secure key used in the authentication process between a client application and the TAP service.
TAP Element
This refers to a specific component or building block used within the TAP to create and manage automated workflows.
TAP Instance Records
TAP instance records refer to specific entries or data points that are created and stored within a TAP instance.
Tap User Group
A TAP User Group is a collection of users within TAP, organized by specific roles and permissions. End users who are expected to use the New Workflow Wizard via the TAP Workflow Action Custom Block are added to TAP User Group. For more information click here.
TAP Workflow Action Grid
The TAP Workflow Action Grid allows users to create and manage workflow actions linked to specific TAP instances by entering fields such as TAP Action Name, TAP Instance, TAP Workflow, Object, Condition, and Workflow Action Type. For more information, click here.
TAP Workflow Action Records
TAP Workflow Action Records are entries that document actions taken during automated workflows.
Task
Internal assignments for TeamConnect Users. For example, preparing reports, reviewing documentation, and other activities could be considered tasks. Tasks can be project-specific (associated with a particular Project) or global (not associated with projects). They can also be billable (posted against an account) or non-billable (a task without a cost).
Teamconnect Category
A category is a label used to organize and color-code emails, calendar events, contacts, and tasks. In the O365 Add-in, a "TeamConnect" category is available in Microsoft To-Dos for synced tasks.
Teamconnect Objects
TeamConnect Objects are the basic data structures in the TeamConnect software platform that represent different entities and components. These objects include records for handling legal cases, clients, matters, documents, tasks, and other important information.
Teamconnect Panel
The TeamConnect Pane is the application window that appears within Microsoft Outlook, providing users access to TeamConnect features and functionalities while managing their email.
Teamconnect Plugin Pane
The TeamConnect Plugin Pane is a panel in the Outlook application that lets users view, create, and edit TeamConnect items—like tasks, appointments, and emails—without leaving the app. This makes it easy to access TeamConnect features directly within your workflow.
Template
A computer file with a pre-designed format and structure, for example, for a fax, letter, or expense report, which can be copied to serve as a pattern or model for additional files of the same type.
Tenant
Tenant is a customer or user group that uses a software application.
Tender Request
Offers and/or bids for particular Legal matter.
Territory
A geographic area with which a Contact is associated. You can associate several territories to a contact.
Threshold Values
Threshold values indicates the probability range that the prediction should be classified as low, medium or high (Values range from 0 to 1).
Timekeepers
Attorneys and Paralegals who perform services listed on invoices; persons whose time is listed on the invoice.
Tool
A utility that helps to automate an operation to decrease the time and effort that would be expended on a task, such as reassigning work in bulk to various Users. There are system tools that come by default with TeamConnect; however, it is also possible to create custom tools. For details about creating custom tools, see Creating Custom Tools.
Total Spend
The total amount of money spent on a case, project, or task.
Transaction
Events in your business that change its financial position, such as buying supplies, paying bills, withdrawing money, or buying equipment. For example, Expenses, Tasks, and Invoices in addition to regular money withdrawals from and transfers between Accounts are transactions. Transactions are posted or completed against accounts.
Traversing
The act of jumping from one table to another in Object Navigator. This is accomplished by selecting one of the Attributes that appears with an arrow next to it. Each time you traverse to another table, you add the selected attribute to the Path which you are creating to identify a field in TeamConnect.
Tree Position
The last branch in a lookup table hierarchy tree, represented by 4-character alphanumeric combination assigned to an item listed in a Lookup Table, a Category or an Assignee Role. Tree positions uniquely identify these items in TeamConnect database. They can include letters and numbers, but letters used in a tree position must be capitalized.
The full tree position path of each child lookup item includes the tree positions of all of its parents.
Triggers
Triggers are operations that users perform in TeamConnect that affect specific records, such as creating tasks, activating accounts, posting invoices, voiding invoices, deleting contact records, and so on. For more information, click here.
