Calendar Settings

The Calendar Settings for TeamConnect Administrators has these options typically enable the configuration and integration of the calendar system with external sources, like calendaring applications or directory services, ensuring data synchronization, access, and authentication across platforms.

These options are accessible for configuring the calendar through the admin settings:

Description

Use Standard Appointment Records

This option refers to utilizing the standard format for recording appointments within the calendar system. It ensures that appointments adhere to a predefined structure or template for consistency and compatibility across the system.

Display Appointments from Calendaring Application

Enabling this option allows the calendar to show appointments or events imported or synchronized from an external calendaring application. It ensures that appointments from another system or application are visible within this calendar interface.

Calendar Server URL

This setting specifies the web address or URL where the calendar server is hosted. It is the location where the calendar system retrieves or stores calendar data.

Calendar Server User Name

This field requires the username or identification credentials used to access the calendar server. It is necessary for authentication purposes when connecting to the calendar server.

Calendar Server Password

This option pertains to the password associated with the specified username for accessing the calendar server. It's used for authentication and ensuring secure access to the calendar data.

Calendar Server Default User

This setting might establish a default user account to access the calendar server when no specific user is specified. It can be useful for system-wide or default access.

LDAP Directory URL and Port Number

LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) is used for accessing and managing directory information. This field requires the URL (address) and port number of the LDAP server, which contains directory-related data.

LDAP Directory User Name This is the username or identifier used to access the LDAP directory. It's essential for authentication and retrieving directory information, including user data.
LDAP Directory Password This field requires the password associated with the specified username for accessing the LDAP directory. It ensures secure access to directory-related data.
