Enhancements

Suite

 

  • Before this release, to see the patches installed, you had to run the Update Manager and see the updates installed or check the directory contents of .\updates\installed under the Suite installation directory. Now you can see the list of patches in the Suite application by clicking on Tools -> About -> Support Information.

eCounsel

 

  • Invoices submitted from Corridor to eCounsel now synchronize payment information such as payment date, payment amount, and check reference number. We have made Corridor compatible with Suite 8.11 SP14.1 and earlier releases. Invoices are still synchronized between eCounsel and Corridor, even when newer versions of Suite provide more invoice information.

  • In Matter > Base Info, the field links: Primary Legal Contact, Primary Client Contact, and Primary Vendor Contact now redirect to the Player Info tab or People Info tab, depending on the option that you select.

  • Now the Matters > Costs tab displays columns Posted date and Exported Date. These columns can be sorted and searched in the grid list. The Exported Date search works with the less than or greater than operators, the equals operator doesn’t work with date format MM/DD/YYYY HH:mm AM/PM, for example, 11/12/2021 11:58 PM.

Secretariat

 

  • Now, in system settings, you can enable or disable displaying records with 0% or empty values in the Equity Percentage field.

  • Now the Scheduling Matter Accrual Notification Email Task lets you program the notification with customized time, for example, every third Monday of the month.

  • Now the Analysis Center accepts web report names that contain an ampersand (&) sign in the Suite Reports module.

eCounsel

 

  • In Suite and Collaborati integrations, matters created via the New Matter Wizard activate flag Need Sync when a Vendor Player record exists.

  • Now custom dynamic filters don’t send error: invalid column name in the People/Entity Related Matter tab.

  • Now the Matter Document Details subtab can sort the records by the Uploaded Date column.

  • Now tabs in the Matters module don’t display a warning message: No values have been inputted for this record even when the required fields are filled. The affected tabs are: Dispute, Physical File, Damages, Exposure, Reserves, Negotiations, Recovery.

  • Fixed the issue where a matter with quotes in the name would break the summary page. Also, the matters toolbar now renders properly.

  • Fixed the issue with the eCounsel New Matter Wizard. When a user uploads an existing template with a calendar section, the wizard no longer displays the event types: task and appointment as folders in the tree view.

  • Fixed the issue with the eCounsel New Matter Wizard template, when a user saved a matter with multiple duplicate records in the same tab, the validation message for duplicates was displayed but the user couldn’t correct the duplicated information and save the updates, displaying the message: Save operation failed.

  • Fixed an issue in the New Matter Wizard, when the user did a drag-and-drop of two fields on the same row, a JSON error was displayed when saving the template.

  • Fixed an error that appeared when doing searches with Timekeeper ID in the Matter/Player tab.

  • Fixed the issue with lookup fields in detail subtabs under a custom tab. Users couldn’t save records.

  • When Suite was integrated with Corridor, the database had the Hidden attribute enabled for Invoice tabs Documents and Documents Details under Security Attributes, and an invoice was synchronized manually or by Electronic submission, the vendor received a message “Invoice [InvoiceNumber] failed to import. Error: NULL”. Now this message is written to the logs, but it’s not sent to the vendor.

Secretariat

 

  • Fixed the issue when attempting to delete a people record in Secretariat, the application didn’t check for dependencies of that person in other records to avoid the deletion.

  1. Stop the Bridgeway Suite application on the Java application server.

  2. Use Update Manager to install the Suite.8.11.14.2 update. The update manager backs up the following files:
