Should I Use the Logout Link or Can I Use the X in the Upper Right Corner

Users should always log out by using the Log-Out link when leaving the application because doing so preserves the security of your site.  After clicking Log-Out, you are redirected back to the log-in page. If your site administrator has set up a re-direct page, you are navigated to that defined URL upon log-out.
