Players in GCD

Players serve as the hub for contacts in GCD. All GCD users (not marked private) will be added to the Players list. Outside parties relevant to your contracts or documents can also be added. Information on Players can be accessed via the Players tab.


Creating a Player

After clicking the Create Player icon in the Create ribbon (on the top navigation bar), enter in the Name and Type of the Player along with any other desired fields. More types can be added by clicking the  add icon. After clicking Save Changes, the player will auto-generate its Player ID.

If the Active check-box is left unchecked, the record will be remain in the system but will not be visible to users. Likewise, locking out a user will leave the record intact but invisible for other GCD users.
