Idea Record Statuses and Definitions
►Needs Review: The status "Needs Review" indicates that a product enhancement request has been submitted and is awaiting evaluation by relevant stakeholders. This stage involves an initial assessment to determine the feasibility and significance of the requested enhancement.
►Candidate: "Candidate" signifies the idea has the potential to be included in the Acuity roadmap but it doesn't guarantee that we are implementing the requested changes
►In Discovery: When a product enhancement request is labeled as "In Discovery," it means it will be included in the roadmap and product is actively working on the research, designs, and validation piece. The status might change if challenges are met along the way
►In Development: "In Development" indicates that the accepted and prioritized product enhancement is actively being worked on by the development team. Coding, testing, and other development activities are ongoing to bring the requested changes to fruition. |
►Shipped: "Shipped" signifies that the product enhancement has completed the development and testing phases and has been incorporated into a new release or version of the product. Users can now access and benefit from the implemented changes.
►Archived: If it is determined that the requested enhancement already exists in the current version of the product or it is an idea product decided we won't do, the status "Archived" is assigned. This indicates that no further action is needed as the feature is already available.
►Flagged for Review: "Flagged for Review" is used when a product enhancement request has value, but not currently on the roadmap. The request will become a part of the product team's annual review. |
