How To Assign a Supervisor

Your organization may use an internal hierarchy that includes the assignment of a Supervisor or Executive over a certain group of employees or Department(s). This may indicate a need for that individual to have access to multiple contract records within the system, including viewing and reporting abilities. VendorInsight® allows this assignment to be reflected in the system by giving a user "Supervisor" credentials.
Supervisor Assignment steps are as follows:
First Steps

In order to assign a VI user with Supervisor access to a VI user with User access, first do the following:

  1. Log into VendorInsight®.
  2. Go to Tools.
  3. Click User Administration*.
  4. You will then click Supervisor Admin.

  1. Click the down arrow.
  2. Select "Unassigned".
