Guidelines to setting up a family-based case and sending questionnaires to beneficiary and petitioner. This was based on a response sent to a client. This client had a custom 1-I30 questionnaire available at the individual level.

The typical family-based case would have an AOS process created for the beneficiary with the AOS I-485 questionnaire sent to the beneficiary.  The I-130 questionnaire should be sent from the Petitioner's individual record so that when the legal team accepts the questionnaire, the I-130 updates the petitioner's record and not the beneficiary. In the AOS process record of the beneficiary, the Other Info section should specify the petitioner so that the petitioner's information maps to the appropriate fields in forms.  All forms should be created under the beneficiary's process record.
