1. Release Summary
ARIES™ – AI Digital Assistant
Meet ARIES™, the all-new AI Digital Assistant in TeamConnect 8.0 – transforming how users explore data and make decisions. With natural language queries, ARIES™ empowers you to ask questions conversationally, uncover insights instantly, and eliminate the hassle of manual reporting.
2. System Requirements
To install ARIES™ 2.0 , ensure that your TeamConnect Enterprise version is 8.0 PB1 or above.
3. Installation
You must have administrator rights to install this update. To install latest TeamConnect InvoiceIQ module version, follow the steps below:
- Login to TeamConnect® as an administrator.
- Click the Admin tab, then click the Admin Settings from the left pane.
- In the left pane, click the About link.
- In the Available Updates section, click the Show updates available for installed products button.
- From the list of available updates, locate ARIES™ 2.0 and click Install Now button.
- Once the module is installed, restart your TeamConnect Instance. Do not start working on settings until the application has been restarted.
- Once the installation is successful, restart TeamConnect. Upon logging back in, Admin should verify the ARIES™ 2.0 installation.
4. Key Enhancements
The ARIES™ tool has been transitioned from a static tab-based interface to a dynamic widget accessible via the top navigation bar. This change simplifies access and aligns with modern UI patterns.
- Widget Launch and controls: Clicking the Widgets icon reveals the ARIES™ tool as an option, opens a popup chatbox at the bottom of the TeamConnect window. The widget includes a close button to remove it from view and pop-out button to launch the widget in a separate window.
- Session Persistence: If the widget is closed and reopened, it restores the previous chat history. And the widget remains open across page navigations within TeamConnect.
- Pop-Out Behavior: When popped out, the widget disappears from the main TeamConnect window and opens in a separate browser window. And users can continue navigating TeamConnect without affecting the functionality of the popped-out chat.
- Single Instance Enforcement: If ARIES™ is already popped out, attempting to open it again from the main window will not trigger any action, ensuring a single active instance.
