This release notes details the information related to Enhancements, Improvements, Resolved and Known Issues in ARIES™ 1.0 release.
NOTE: ARIES™ is only available to Hosted TeamConnect clients on version 6.3.3 and above.
ARIES™ 1.0 Release Enhancements
This release introduces the initial release of TC ARIES™, a revolutionary natural language query tool designed to simplify complex data inquiries. This innovative solution empowers users to ask questions in everyday language and receive relevant, actionable insights in response. The following enhancements are included in this release:
Natural Language Query
- Ask questions in simple, everyday language and receive accurate answers. For example, “What firm billed the most in 2024” will return the firm name and total net amount of posted invoices.
- Leverage artificial intelligence to generate and execute SQL queries against Snowflake data.
Centralized Hub for Financial Data
Access your financial data, including:
- Actual spend and related data
- Invoices and invoice line items
- Associated vendors, timekeepers, and matters
AI-Powered Insights:
- Receive tabular answers in response to your natural language questions.
- All responses are consistent with user permissions, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Each client's data is separate from all other clients.
Key Features of ARIES™ Integration
- Opt-in Installation: Clients will opt-in to use ARIES™, which will be installed as a module.
- Currency Normalization: All spend information will be converted to the system currency and Get responses in the system currency, unless a specific currency is requested.
- Exchange Rates: Exchange rates will be based on the rates stored on the invoice at the time of posting.
- Matter Category: Clients can define the type of matter using the matter category feature.
- Matters: Questions about matters are based on matters which have received invoices.
- Rate-Related Questions: All questions related to rates will pertain to billed rates.
- Firm and Vendor: On the invoice, "Firm" refers to the vendor.
- Security: All answers are returned based on the user’s permissions. This means that two users with different permissions may ask the same question and get different results.
