TAP 1.25.0 Release Notes

Release Summary

This release focuses on security hardening, database and data-integrity improvements, and a set of bug fixes identified through client feedback and internal testing.

Key improvements:

Security Improvements

This release strengthens the platform's overall security posture by addressing a potential cross-site scripting issue in an administrative interface.

Database and Performance Improvements

This release improves data security and integrity through the following enhancements:

• Strengthened input validation and query handling in user management search, filtering, and export functionality to prevent potential security and data-integrity issues
• Resolved an issue where exported user records could be incomplete after filtering

Bug Fixes

Issue: Incorrect file name mapping between multiple file upload fields
Description: When two file upload fields were used together with corresponding document name fields, uploading files in a specific sequence caused the second file's name to incorrectly copy from the first. File names now map correctly regardless of upload order.

Issue: Reminder notifications continued after workflow cancellation
Description: Informational reminder notifications continued to be sent for a workflow after it had been canceled. Reminders now correctly stop once a workflow is canceled.

Issue: Dashboard became inaccessible after workflow template changes
Description: Users were unable to access the dashboard after a workflow template was imported and then deleted, with the dashboard displaying a generic error. The dashboard now loads correctly after this sequence of changes.

Issue: External API requests failing when using Multipart Form Data with file fields
Description: Submitting a request through the External API using Multipart Form Data format failed with a 400 Bad Request error when both the File Upload option and Document Builder file fields were configured. These requests now complete successfully.

Issue: eSignature validation incorrectly triggered for fields without an eSignature tag
Description: Saving a workflow produced an eSignature tag validation error for custom header, custom HTML, and certain record form fields even though they do not support an eSignature tag, preventing the workflow from being saved. These fields no longer trigger this validation error.

Issue: eSignature tag error messages inconsistent between notification and field properties
Description: The eSignature tag error shown in the toast notification did not match the error message shown in the field's properties panel. These messages are now consistent.

Issue: eSignature validation incorrectly triggered for CAPTCHA fields
Description: CAPTCHA fields were incorrectly flagged with an eSignature tag validation error despite not supporting an eSignature tag. This field type no longer triggers the validation error.

Issue: Malformed eSignature error message for Table and Checkbox fields
Description: The eSignature tag error notification appended extra characters after the field name for Table and Checkbox fields. The error message now displays cleanly.

Issue: Internal error when navigating between the dashboard and designer
Description: Navigating between the dashboard and the workflow designer intermittently produced an internal error, preventing access to workflow templates. Navigation now works reliably.

Issue: Updated DocuSign authentication to support App Passwords
Description: DocuSign is retiring legacy password-based authentication for SOAP integrations; TAP now uses and securely stores the App Password configured during DocuSign setup, ensuring continued connectivity ahead of DocuSign's deprecation.
