Release Summary

The TAP 1.24.3 release introduces security improvements, enhanced system logging and diagnostics, tenant-level SMTP routing for email notifications, key bug fixes, and known issues. 

Security Improvements
This release includes multiple security enhancements and fixes to strengthen the platform and address issues identified during internal security reviews. 

Technical Improvements
Enhanced the application logging and exception handling framework by standardizing log formats, enabling structured logging with contextual parameters across all log levels, and improving diagnostic information capture to support better monitoring, troubleshooting, and system observability.


Enhancements

Tenant-Level SMTP Routing for Email Notifications
Administrators can now configure tenant-level SMTP routing to send platform-generated emails through their organization’s SMTP infrastructure instead of the default platform email server. Emails are sent from your organization's domain and routed through your mail server, ensuring internal delivery rules, compliance policies, and spam filtering apply as expected.

Bug Fixes 

Issue:
Previously, user details for comments in the Communication tab were sometimes missing from the audit trail.
This issue has been resolved so that user details are now properly retained and displayed in the audit trail for comments within the Communication tab.

Issue:
Previously, a potential security vulnerability was identified during system validation.
This issue has been resolved to ensure the system operates securely and aligns with expected security standards.

Issue:
Previously, Document Builder could intermittently generate PDFs with missing or blank dynamic fields during subsequent document generation stages, even though the corresponding data was present in the workflow record.
This issue has been resolved to ensure that dynamic field values are consistently populated across all document generations, maintaining data accuracy and consistency in generated PDFs.

Issue:
Previously, file uploads could fail when the file name or file length exceeded certain limits, resulting in an error message during the upload process.
This issue has been resolved to ensure files upload successfully without errors, regardless of file name or file length.

Issue:
Previously, when the Hide Audit Trail option was enabled for a workflow field, the value was hidden in the audit trail but still appeared in exported PDF documents.
This issue has been resolved so that the value is now hidden in both the audit trail and exported PDFs.

Issue:
Previously, when configuring options for a dropdown question with many values, users could not scroll to view all available options, making it difficult to complete and save the configuration.
This issue has been resolved so that users can now scroll through the full list of options and configure dropdown questions without needing to adjust the browser zoom.

Issue:
Previously, form field options containing apostrophes in their values were not displayed in the next stage when using Show and edit form access.
This issue has been resolved to ensure that all submitted values, including those with apostrophes, are correctly displayed in subsequent workflow stages.

Issue:
Previously, when a form value of $0 was referenced using a Form Result Value in a Custom HTML form field, the value appeared as empty instead of displaying correctly.
This issue has been resolved so that values containing $0 are now properly displayed in the referenced form field.

Issue:
Previously, the Minimum Capacity Threshold Exception and Performance Exception headings did not display along with their respective elements based on the selected option under Primary Exception Justification.
This issue has been resolved so that the relevant headings now appear correctly with their associated elements based on the selected justification.

Issue:
Previously, the Add new option and Edit option values fields appeared even when dropdown configuration options other than “Set options manually” were selected.
This issue has been resolved so that these fields are now displayed only when Set options manually is selected.

Previously, when reopening dropdown configuration settings, the scroll position remained at the bottom instead of resetting to the top.
This issue has been resolved so that the dropdown configuration view now resets to the top when reopened.

Issue:
Previously, the <hidden> tag was not displayed for SSN field values in the audit trail when viewed in the exported PDF.
This issue has been resolved so that the <hidden> tag now appears correctly in the audit trail within the PDF.

Issue:
Previously, Form field values configured to be hidden in the audit trail were not consistently masked in the Audit Log PDF. 
This issue has been resolved so that all form fields marked as hidden now appear as hidden in the generated Audit Log PDF.

Issue:
Previously, the Configure Options pop-up for dropdown form fields expanded dynamically when adding multiple options, which could prevent users from accessing the Save button.
This issue has been resolved so that the pop-up now maintains a consistent size, allowing users to add options and save the configuration successfully.

Issue:
Previously, the role configured to provide access to the audit trail for a form field was not retained after reloading the workflow.
This issue has been resolved so that the selected role is now saved correctly and persists after the workflow is reloaded.

Known Issue(s)

  1. When validating the TeamConnect connection, the system may mark the TAP–TeamConnect integration connection as valid even when incorrect credentials or parameters are provided.
