Release Summary

The TAP 1.23.7 release focuses on key bug fixes. 

Bug Fixes 

Issue: Previously, certain workflows failed to progress to a collaboration stage due to an unhandled internal error that occurred when the system attempted to send notifications. This issue prevented the stage from being submitted, causing the workflow to remain stuck and blocking users from moving it forward. 

The workflow engine has now been updated to correctly handle this exception, ensuring the stage can be submitted and the workflow continues without interruption. Other active users assigned to the stage or users with the appropriate roles, including both Admin and non-Admin users, can now successfully take action and submit the workflow.

Note: This fix ensures the proper functioning of the workflow by allowing users with an active role to access stages previously assigned to a user with an inactive or deleted role. However, the behavior related to users whose role has been deleted remains unchanged and is not modified as part of this update.
