Steps to Reproduce

  1. Import the workflow.
  2. Publish and save the workflow.
  3. Preview the workflow.
  4. Within the form, use the attached upload option to submit the relevant file. 
  5. Submit the workflow.
  6. Signer will get an email for signing the document.
  7. Open the signature document from the link.
  8. Scroll down to the end of the document .
  9. Your Signature block for signing is visible.
  10. Sign the document.
  11. After signing, the identical signature will appear in the designated ‘Your Signature’ block.

Expected Results of Steps
After the receiver signs the contract, it should be placed under the ‘Your Signature field.

Actual Results of Steps
Once the receiver signs the contract, the signature appears on the top left side of the page.

Root Cause Analysis
The “iText” upgrade has introduced a new approach to managing signature fields compared to its previous version. 

Impacted Areas
E-signature integration and Document generation - The process of document signing was temporarily halted within the workflow, consequently leading to the unavailability of the workflow for a span of a few weeks.

  1. Acro form PDF with TAP sign, Adobe Sign, and DocuSign
  2. Basic testing around Document Builder and Document Field
  3. Subsequent stages approvals, signature form fields
