When transactions for any equity class are entered, Secretariat automatically updates the History tab of the equity class to reflect any new transactions. This functionality is true for all equity classes, and calculates the Issued, Outstanding, Treasury, and Cancelled fields on the History tab for each record.
The automatic calculation of history is the default behavior. Starting in Suite 8.11 SP6, users can disable this functionality for a security record on the Base Info tab of the Securities page, meaning that all entries on the History tab must be created manually and all calculations must be performed manually. Prior to Suite 8.11 SP6, a system administrator can disable this functionality.
