Enhancements

This service pack includes the following enhancements.

 

Suite

  • We have made the following changes to the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) fields:

    • We have rearranged the fields in the Timekeeper CSV file generated by using the Employment tab for better readability.

    • The Analysis Center script contains the new DEI fields.

  • We have updated the Corporate Meeting Wizard to process more than 1000 officers and directors data.

  • We have improved our logging tools by adding the following features:

    • Severity values INFO, DEBUG, WARN, ERROR, FATAL.

    • Logs specifying the following cases: HTTP requests and responses, XML requests, SQL, rules, authentication, tasks, imports, integrations, and reports.

  • When a Person record is mapped and approved to a Collaborati Timekeeper, now you can edit and save Person without deleting the E-Invoicing Timekeeper ID.

  • Now Timekeeper View contains the new field Add Discounted Rate.

  • We have added a validation to the Timekeeper Import Wizard (TIW) that sends a warning message when an old CSV format is uploaded. TIW also provides a link to the new CSV format. The CSV format has changed in service pack 15 (SP15) with the addition of new DEI fields.

eCounsel

 

  • We introduce the following features on Manual Invoice:

    • Tax Types US and Non-US

    • A Tax Type dropdown in Invoice Detail to choose between options when Non-US type is selected.

    • Activity Code, Task Code, and Expense Code are displayed as dropdown fields in eCounsel and Corridor.

Issue Resolutions

This service pack includes the following issue resolutions.

Suite

  • We fixed an issue in which the session token didn’t match the request token in Suite installed on premise.

  • We fixed an issue that raised an exception when Collaborati Vendors/Timekeepers/Codes/Matters tasks attempted to send Matters to Collaborati.

  • We fixed an issue in which Find Duplicates for records in the Entities module didn’t work when the user entered special characters.

  • We fixed an issue in which  New Matter Wizard (NMW) couldn’t load if a Matter Type contained an ampersand.

  • We fixed an issue with the search not yielding correct results when doing a search in the Matter Summary field.

  • We fixed an issue in which any user that knew a valid MatterNumber_ID could access all information related to that matter by adding that MatterNumber_ID to a Suite URL, even if the user didn’t have access to that matter.

  • We fixed an issue with the Enter key in Progress Notes saving and closing the record instead of adding a new line feed.

  • We fixed an issue in which CSV files that contained Vendor Tax ID with double quotes couldn’t be parsed.

Secretariat

  • We fixed an issue with reports in which historic data was not kept and instead the newest data would show, and searches within a timeframe didn’t respect the given timeframe and would show newer data.

eCounsel


 

  • eCounsel > Invoices > Documents created empty Imported LEDES CSV files.

  • We fixed an issue in which eCounsel unauthorized Collaborati timekeepers when Employment Record was deleted, regardless of whether the employment record was active or inactive or whether the timekeeper had another active employment record with the vendor. Now, eCounsel performs unauthorization of the timekeeper only when the last active employment record is deleted.

Suite Installation Instructions

  1. Stop the Bridgeway Suite application on the Java application server.

  2. Use Update Manager to install the Suite.8.11.15.2 update. 

  3. Restart the Bridgeway Suite application on the Java application server.

 

 

Database Script Instructions

 

  1. Use your preferred database tool (SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle RMAN utility, Oracle export data pump utility, etc.) to make a backup of your Suite database.

  2. Log in to your query tool as an administrative user.

  3. Open the appropriate scripts .ZIP file for your database:

◦ suite8.11.0.sp15.0-Scripts-Oracle.zip for Oracle databases

◦ suite8.11.0.sp15.0-Scripts-SQL.zip for SQL databases

  1. Open and run the SQL script.
