This release notes details the information related to Enhancements, Improvements, and Resolved Issues in LegalHold 3.8.2 release. 

This release introduces a range of exciting and highly requested features aimed at enhancing the LegalHold workflow for our clients. Key highlights include improved TeamConnect and LegalHold integration, justification reason management, customized report locking, and streamlined hold management, all designed to boost performance, usability, and productivity.

Enhancements/Improvements

Enhancement: TeamConnet and LegalHold Integration have improved Database Overload while the Security Sync Task runs.
Description: In order to improve application navigation and resource consumption, we have reduced database overload during the TeamConnect Security Sync Task run, which sends hundreds of matter access records and those are processed via Threads in a matter of minutes.

Enhancement: A new option to accommodate the justification reasons.
Description: The following capabilities have been added for the justification reason feature: 

  • A Global setting to turn on/off the feature.
  • An action button to associate the justification reason for adding a recipient to the hold notice.
  • On the CSV upload for the custodians, a new field for Justification Reason was added right next to the email address and employee ID.

Enhancement: We have introduced a new option in Custom Designer to lock down reports, preventing accidental deletion or modification.

Enhancement: We have enhanced the hold feature to allow hold issuers to easily add justification for newly added custodians by clicking the justification placeholder to start typing. This functionality is only available when there is no existing justification data for the custodian.

Bug Fixes

Issue: An issue with the Questionnaire step has been fixed, which displays a validation message for pre-existing questions in different types of questionnaires.

Issue: We have resolved the performance issue with the Holds on Recipients Report.
