If you start adding a new matter and stop before completing and saving the record, temporary data is stored. This will produce an error when attempting to add a new matter. This issues is occurring because there is data in the matterstemp table. That table can be cleared out as follows to resolve the error:
If you are an Administrator, you can perform the steps below to clear out the matter temp table.
- Select My Lawtrac
- Select Application Administration
- Select Matter Maintenance
- Click on option Temporary Matter Data
- Delete All Prior
