Error Message: The Matter Number Cannot be Verified

What does it mean when the LEDES file results in error message: The Matter Number Cannot be Verified (i.e. Matter #: LIT-000011)?

If the LEDES file results in this error, then review the LEDES file to ensure that the correct matter number is entered in the Client_Matter_ID field. Law Firms can find the matter number by going to Matters > Open in Lawtrac; The Matter Number is listed to the left of the Matter Name.
