Email Notification with Added Information from Comment Box
This is an enhancement to existing functionality to send a notification to an MR along with the details entered in the comment box by the user before completing a form from the views. Previously the details in the comments box were not included in the notification email.
To Enable the Functionality
- Login to the app.
- Navigate to Administration > Smartform Builder > Create a new form template.
- Select Edit > Workflow Wizard > Configure the form actions > Select Yes for the setting Enable form mr completion Notification.
- Configure the Title and Body of a mail notification.
5. Select Ok. From the main template page select the Raise Form button. Select MR and submit the form.
6. Navigate to View Library, open the View of the submitted form, and fill in the details by clicking the Complete button.
7. Before completing the form, a comment box is displayed. Add comments and select Save. The form is completed successfully.
8. A mail is triggered to the MR of the form and the comments added in the comment box is included in the notification mail.
