Create Access Control Lists
The Access Control Lists (ACLs) enable you to configure access to the selected User, Role or Group and to Data Definitions and Search Templates.
Access Control for Users, Groups and Roles is described here. Access Control for Data Definitions and Search Templates is described in “Create ACLs for Data Definitions” on page 57.
Note: When setting up an ACL to allow a User access to Items (Users, Roles or Groups), ensure the User has Permissions to Manage Users & Groups. If the User does not have Permissions to Manage Users & Groups, the Users and Groups functionality will not be available when they log in and they will be unable to view Users, Groups or Roles. See “Users and Groups” and “Permissions Inheritance” for more information.
