Web Searching Client
- Routing and approving documents can now be done directly within the Web Searching Client. Combined with the simplicity of onboarding new users on the web, this means that you can engage a much broader audience in your document workflows.
- With the Web Searching Client, it’s now easier than ever to edit documents directly in their associated Office applications, view and maintain a version history of changes and combine these with Document Routing for simple and intuitive review and approval workflows.
- Field highlighting is now available in the Web Searching Client, making it quick and easy to zoom in on the information you are looking for.
- Mistakes happen and need to be simple to rectify. Whether it’s a batch of documents that was scanned with the wrong document classification or if it’s a new piece of metadata that needs to be added, Bulk Field Modification makes it simple to make bulk changes directly from your browser.
- Index Assistant Support: Makes field value modification simpler by supporting Index Assistants in the Web Searching Client.
- Save Current Search functionality: Allows the currently configured search to be saved as a URL. By saving this URL in your browser or even sending it to another user, the search can easily be repeated any time you need.
- Single Sign On (SSO) / Mixed Mode Authentication support: In addition to Windows authentication, the DataStore Web Client now supports SSO with any SAML 2 capable Identity Provider. We also now support Mixed Mode Authentication so you can mix-and-match authentication options for employees, contractors and external auditors or consultants.
- Multiple Index Set support and Multiple Field Value support: This adds the ability to create and edit Multiple Index Sets and Multiple Field Values when modifying fields in the Web Searching Client.
- Show or Hide Panels: Enables users to maximize the area of the screen for viewing documents.
- Client-Side Search Field Validation: Shows users whether their search criteria is valid for a field before performing a search to save them time.
- Search Parameter Choices and Search Field History: Searches are made easier to define, using simple dropdowns by using pre-configured search criteria or the history of what you've searched for previously.
