Web Searching Client

  • DataStore 4.3 brings a new web-based version of Searching Client - a significant step in the evolution of DataStore.
  • This first release gives your users read-only access to data and the ability to view stamps, notes, and attachments from their browsers.

  • The decision to transition to DataStore towards a web-based applications offers customers many benefits, including, but not limited to:
    • An enhanced ability to rollout the search functionality to new departments without IT’s support
    • Easier access to data and more straightforward integrations using hyperlinks, which can be generated for specific documents
    • A simplified upgrade process that removes the need to upgrade each client PC
    • Significantly reduced IT complexity when it comes to searching for remote or hybrid workers
  • New features to extend the functionality of DataStore as a web-based application will be added over time in incremental releases, delivering the most impactful changes first.
