Corridor Home Page

When logging in to Corridor using an Administrator user ID and password, the Corridor home page displays with options for administering the product. The home page has several areas:

Welcome Message Area

Once your users are set up, the Welcome Message area on the Corridor home page contains the Corridor contact information for the Managers user accounts at your company. This information will display on the home page of all users of Corridor. In addition, the Welcome Message area contains a bulletin board for notices from Mitratech Support. Each notification can be deleted by clicking the  Delete button to the right of the message. Notifications appear for every user; deleting a message only removes the notification from that user's home page.

External Links Area

The External Links area on the Corridor home page lists hyperlinks to the UTBMS and LEDES Websites for convenience.

Firms/Vendors Area

The Firms/Vendors area on the Corridor home page lists all active law firms/vendors that you have set up in the matter management application to submit their invoices electronically using Corridor. A firm is activated by Mitratech after Mitratech receives a signed services agreement from the firm.

Administration Area

The Administration area on the Corridor home page lets you view, add, and edit user accounts. It also lets you configure messages for vendors, and configure the integration to eCounsel.

View Users

Click on the View Users link to display a list of all Corridor users at your vendor/law firm. This area allows you to edit existing user information, such as re-setting passwords, updating an e-mail address, or inactivating a user account with an expiration date.

To edit an existing user, click on the View Users link on the Corridor home page. Select a user from the list to open the Admin: Edit User Profile page. The Save button saves the changes; the Cancel button cancels the entry and returns you to the home page.

Add New User

Click on the Add New User link to enter a new Corridor user account. Use the information on the User Information Worksheet to add your new users to Corridor.

Edit Ebilling with Invoice Tax Support

If you have upgraded to eCounsel Version 8.4 or higher or your LawManager implementation has been configured for taxes on invoices, your company can accept tax information from LEDES 1998BI and 2000 files. You must configure a new setting in Corridor to allow vendors/law firms to submit invoices in LEDES 1998BI format and LEDES 2000 format with tax information. Click on the Edit Ebilling with Invoice Tax Support link. Select the Accept manual/LEDES 98BI/2000 invoices with tax option, and click Save.

Post Message to Law Firm

For client administrators and managers, clicking on the Post Message to Law Firm link allows you to create a notification that will be posted to all law firm/vendor users are to a specific law firm/vendor's users.

Enable Timekeeper Upload from Vendors

If you have upgraded to eCounsel 8.11.0 Service Pack 12 or higher, you can enable vendors to be able to manually add or upload timekeeper records in Corridor to be submitted to your company. Enabling this option requires installation of a task to process the timekeepers and configuration of the Lobby to receive timekeepers from Corridor.

1. On the Upload Billing Guidelines page, click Choose File

2. Choose a file in XLS, XLSX, DOC, DOCX, or PDF format.

Enable Vendor Matter Synchronization

If Corridor is integrated with Suite and Suite Manager has task Matter for Vendor installed, use Enable Vendor Matter Synchronization to finish the configuration needed for task Matter for Vendor. Additionally, you can disable the vendor-matter synchronization or click Cancel to dismiss any changes.
