Maximum number of characters allowed for the line item number on an invoice line item

Error message: LINE_ITEM_NUMBER exceeds the maximum limit for this field

There is a limit to the length of the line item number.

A LEDES file in Collaborati should allow a character length of 20 characters. However, TeamConnect stores this field as a "java integer" with an upper numerical limit of 2147483647. So, Collaborati also has this restriction.  (This is the largest number it can store in this field.)

General guidelines would be to use 9 digits or less for the invoice line item number, otherwise TeamConnect may automatically reject an invoice submitted from Collaborati.
