Cannot Process Invoice. Adjustments on Fees are not Allowed as the Only Non-Zero Line Items

Simple guide describing how to resolve the following error within Collaborati: "Cannot process invoice. Adjustment on fees are not allowed as the only non-zero line items" .

This is a run-time error that is caused after you click the 'Submit to client' button.
The error is caused when you have some Adjustment lines.
Collaborati seems to be confused with how you would distribute the Adjustment.

It is recommended that you do one of the following:

  1.  Add a Fee line (F) to the file and also include your Adjustment line (IF)
        OR
  2. Convert the Adjustment line (IF) to a Fee line (F).
