General Role Permissions

The table below defines the General Role Permissions.

The table below defines the General Role Permissions. Role Permissions can be found by navigating to the Admin module, then selecting Role Permissions from the left sidebar menu. 

Allow to be Performer

When selected, Users with a Role that has this permission enabled will be able to perform Events that are assigned to the same Org Units and Entities as they are. (Please be aware that Event Status, Workflow stage and Event Category will also effect which Roles can perform an Event).

Allow to be Action Responsible  When selected, Users with a Role that has this permission enabled will appear in the list of possible ‘Responsible Users’ when creating or reassigning an Action. (Please be aware that Org Unit and Entity assignments along with Action Categories will also affect which users are available to be chosen as the ‘Responsible User’.
Default User Role for User created from New Actions When selected, Users created from the ‘Create New Action’ or ‘Create New Event’ pages will be given this role automatically.
Only provide access to Own Events When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will only be able to view Events that are assigned to their User.
Only provide access to Own Actions When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will only be able to view Actions that are assigned to their User.
Allow to be Document Owner When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will appear in the drop-down list of possible ‘Document Owners’ within the ‘Owner’ field against a Document within the Documents Module.
Allow to Complete Event for New Form When selected, the Role with this permission enabled will automatically be added to the list of Roles able to complete a newly created Form. So Users assigned to this Role will automatically be able to complete Events created against a new Form.
Allow to Import/Export Forms When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will have access to the Import and Export options in the Forms Tab within the Admin Module.
Allow Documents saved against a User to appear in Documents Module When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will have access to documents attached to the User's profile within the Document module instead of only on the User profile. 
Allow to create Org. Wide dashboards When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to create Dashboards visible to all users on the site that are assigned to a Role that has the Dashboards Module enabled.
Allow to create Public Dashboards When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to create Dashboards that are visible to a ‘Public User’. (Only relevant if ‘Public Access’ is enabled on the site).
Show all Entity Types When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to see and select any Entity Type, without requiring the user to have assignments to an Entity with the Entity Type.
Show Type/Category on Mobile When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to view Type and Category information for Events, Actions and others on the Mobile Apps.
Make Confidential When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to make Events Confidential, meaning only users with access to the Confidential Category will be able to view the Event.
Allow login to mobile (ie PDA, iOS, Windows App) When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Login to their client specific site on the iOS, Windows Application and PDA Devices.
Allow button 'Save for All Users' on lists

When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to save their column selection for all users on the site. (This is done by selecting the cogwheel inside the Event List or Action List pages and checking which columns you wish to be available).

Allow view all Forms

When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to view all Forms in the system, despite if their Role was selected to access the Form or not.

Default for Import Users

When selected, this Role will become the Default Role assigned to Users imported into the system.

Allow Manage Org. Wide Filters When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to see filter options for all Org Units and Entities, even though they may not have access to Objects with those settings. 
Allow Manage Custom Emails When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Edit the Custom Emails available to be sent out from the Site. (Such as changing the Email Body and adding links to Events/Actions).
Allow Manage Severities

When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Edit the Severity values used on the site. This controls how serious an Event/Action is marked as on the system, such as Critical, High, Medium and Low.
