Default to Todays Date for Date and Time Custom Fields

A new Default to Today’s Date option is now available for Date and Time custom fields. When enabled, the system automatically fills these fields with the current date and time for new records, minimizing manual input.

This feature applies to all Date and Time fields mapped to their respective modules.

How to Enable this Feature:

To enable the Default to Today’s Date field:

  1. Go to Admin > Custom Fields
  2. Open the configured Date and Time custom field.
  3. The Default to Today’s Date option can be enabled by selecting the checkbox.

Default to Today’s Date is enabled in Risk Assessment

When enabled for the Date and Time custom field in Risk Assessment, this option displays both the current date and time.

If only the date is enabled and both the time and Default to Today’s Date options are disabled, the Date and Time custom field remains blank. If the time field is enabled, the custom field in Risk Assessment displays the current time by default.
