ARIES™ Installation and Configuration guide

Introduction to ARIES™

TC ARIES™ is an innovative natural language query tool designed to simplify complex data inquiries. By leveraging artificial intelligence, users can pose questions in everyday language, and the system will generate and execute the corresponding SQL queries against Snowflake data.

The primary objective of this project is to develop design capable of accurately answering a diverse range of common questions, prioritizing precision over breadth. 

Given the customizable nature of TeamConnect environments, which can result in unique data models for each client, ARIES™ is designed as an opt-in module. This module enables clients to query spend information in natural language, normalizing all spend data to the system currency.

ARIES™ Module Installation

You must have admin rights to install this product. To install ARIES™ 1.0.0:

Log in to TeamConnect, navigate to Admin tab > Admin Settings > About.

In the Available Updates section, click Show Updates Available for Installed Products.

Locate ARIES™1.0.0. And Click Install Now.

Once the installation is successful, restart TeamConnect. Upon logging back in, Admin should verify the following:

ARIES™ singleton object is created.

ARIES™ Admin singleton object is created.

ARIES™ProductAuthenticationAction job is scheduled in Scheduled Actions.

ARIES™ User group and Admin group is created.

ARIES™ Module Configuration

To finalize the setup of the ARIES™ module, follow these steps while logged into TeamConnect as the ARIES™ Admin user:

From the Global Navigation bar, click the ARIES™ Admin tab.

And in the connection tab, click one of the pencil icons to edit the ARIES™ Admin singleton object.

Enter the Account ID and Product Key into the fields provided. 

Click Save &View or Save & Close or Save using the dropdown shown.

Click the ‘Refresh Token’ button to refresh the token.

"Token Refreshed" message will appear, and the module will be ready for ARIES™ users to connect.

The History tab enables users to audit any changes to the ARIES™ Settings. Users will get to see the summary of changes made, in the tabular format.

To add new details of history click the New button.

If you have made any changes to the update, please provide details in the following tabs:

  • General 
  • Categories
  • Documents
  • Security
  • workflow

Under the Histories tab, users can access history information in the following formats:

  • Custom Search
  • Recently Viewed
  • All History
  • Recent History

 

ARIES™ functionality

ARIES™ users can now interact with the chatbot by sending financial questions, which will be answered based on the data integrated with ARIES™. To do this, ARIES™ user should follow these steps:

Log into TeamConnect  and click the ARIES™ tab from the Global Navigation bar. If needed, click the ARIES™ ARIES™ singleton object.

The ARIES™ UI initializes and loads in the main screen.

The user can send financial questions to the chat bot, and it will respond with relevant information or a helpful message if it's unable to answer the question.
