Enhancements

We have introduced the following features.

 

eCounsel

 

  • Now eCounsel and Corridor synchronize the Ethnicity and Gender fields, which are also lookups for search. In Corridor,  you can find these new fields in section Add Timekeeper.

  • We have improved our logging tools.

  • We have made changes to the default behavior of the custom rule Update Player Rate from Employment Record (UPRER), which updates all the rates of the timekeepers assigned to a matter. This is done with the Hold Timekeeper Rates (HTR) checkbox located in the Matter Player tab. If HTR is on, then UPRER doesn’t update the rate of the timekeeper. If HTR is off, then UPRER updates the rate of the timekeeper. UPRER supports the Oracle DB.

  • We have made the Gender dropdown list customizable so that you can enter more gender options.

OfficeLink Add-in

 

  • Now Suite shows the Microsoft Office and Outlook add-ins version in X.Y.Z.NNN format, for example, version 3.1.0.421.

Issue Resolutions

This service pack includes the following issue resolutions.


 

Suite

  • We fixed an issue where Corridor invoices showed duplicate LEDES file attachments.

  • In Tools > Preferences > WorldView > Site Administration, we fixed an issue where performing actions on  Committee entities would create an exception.

eCounsel

 

  • We fixed an issue with SSO authentication using Okta. When a user tried to log in via the Okta dashboard, a DBFileParser.getDefaultDB error would appear.

  • We fixed an issue in which hotkeys and shortcut keys were not working as expected.

Suite Installation Instructions

  1. Stop the Bridgeway Suite application on the Java application server.

  2. Use Update Manager to install the Suite.8.11.14.4 update.

  3. Restart the Bridgeway Suite application on the Java application server.

Database Script Instructions

 

  1. Use your preferred database tool (SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle RMAN utility, Oracle export data pump utility, etc.) to make a backup of your Suite database.

  2. Log in to your query tool as an administrative user.

  3. Open the appropriate scripts ZIP file for your database:

◦ suite8.11.0.sp14.4-Scripts-Oracle.zip for Oracle databases

◦ suite8.11.0.sp14.4-Scripts-SQL.zip for SQL databases

  1. Open and run the SQL script.
