If you have the desktop client installed locally, you can access the Document Vault.

If you only access Mitratech Document Vault using the Web interface, this functionality is not available.

To open the M-Files Vault from the Desktop:

• Double-click the M-Files shortcut on the Windows Desktop.

To open the M-Files Vault from the taskbar:

• Click the M-Files icon on the Taskbar if you have assigned the shortcut to the taskbar.

To open the M-Files Vault from Microsoft Windows Explorer:

• Click the drive that contains the document repository. The document repository appears as a virtual disk drive, such as M:\ (default) or another drive letter if  M:\ is already used.
