Using the Vault through eCounsel
Accessing the Vault through eCounsel
eCounsel uses the Web interface to embed Document Vault inside a matter. The Document Vault tab in eCounsel only displays documents attached to the particular matter. If you have Read/Write access, you can: check documents in or out and drag-and-drop new documents onto the tab.
To view the Vault through eCounsel:
- Open a matter in eCounsel.
- In Edit mode, click the Document Vault tab for that matter.
Mitratech Document Vault displays only the documents attached to that matter.
Adding Documents through eCounsel
To add a document to the Vault for a specific a matter through eCounsel:
- Open a matter in eCounsel.
- Click the Document Vault tab for that matter.
- Drag-and-drop the document onto the Document Vault tab.
- The document properties are displayed, and the matter information is auto-populated so that the document is automatically attached to the matter.
- Save the document.
