LegalHold 1.2.4 Release Notes

This release notes details the information related to enhancements, improvements, and resolved issues in LegalHold 1.2.4.

Enhancements/Improvements

Enhancement: For all reports, the report will return results for all records unless specific criteria is entered to filter the results.
Description: On the report, selecting the Generate Report button without entering any search parameters displays all records in the system on the page. You can then select the records to print for the report or select all records to print for the report.

Improvement: For clients using the People Import task to import people from a Human Resources (HR) system, the path to the file on the SFTP server now must be specified in the schedule, but not the specific filename. This improvement supports HR systems that use a date/timestamp for the filenames.
Description: The People Import task will read the file in the upload path and after importing successfully, will move that file into a new archive subfolder. If multiple files exist in the upload path, the task will read the file with the most recent date/timestamp, and move all files in the path to the archive folder upon successful completion.

Improvement: A new setting, "Reset Custodian Responses on Schedule", has been added to customize notices, so that you can now reset all responses for the hold each time a reminder is sent.
Description: Access the new setting by selecting System Settings on the LegalHold Home page, and selecting Hold and Reminder Customizations. Toggle "Reset Custodian Responses on Schedule" to enabled. Each time a reminder email is sent in the form of a digest or individual email, the custodian's response is reset to not responded and the custodian will receive all reminder emails. If the reminder is sent as a digest, a new variable "Link to Custodian Portal" can be added to the text of the digest to provide a link for the custodian to the portal to respond. All history of these changes is captured in the custodian history at the hold level.
