LH-TAP Integration

Prerequisites

Before starting the configuration, please ensure you have the following three items ready:

1. Base Workflow Template File: You must have the base workflow template file, which has a .tapw extension. This file needs to be downloaded from LegalHold.
2. Valid TAP License: Your organization is required to have an active license for TAP.
3. TAP Account with Permissions: You need login credentials for a TAP account that has the necessary permissions to create workflow templates.

Configuration Steps

Follow these steps to import the workflow template into TAP and then connect it to LegalHold:

1. Log in to TAP: Access your TAP account using your credentials.
2. Navigate to Designer: In the TAP interface, go to the Business Automation menu and select Designer.
3. Import Template:
   • Click on the Import option.
   • A pop-up window will appear. Select the .tapw file base workflow template file you previously downloaded from LegalHold.
   • Click Import to upload the file.
     
4. Save the Template: After the template has finished uploading, configure the workflow permissions, publish the workflow, and then save your changes.
   
   
5. Copy the Template ID:
   • Locate the Template ID for the workflow you just saved.
   • You can find this ID in the URL of the template's page within TAP. Copy this ID.
     
6. Link to LegalHold:
   • Return to the LegalHold application.
   • Navigate to the TAP Workflow Template Configuration screen.
   • Paste the copied Template ID into the TAP Template ID field.

Next Steps

Once you have successfully configured the Template ID in LegalHold, the system is ready. It will now automatically trigger the corresponding workflow in TAP whenever required by events within LegalHold.
