If you are unable to see the Document section of the Matter screen, chances are that your settings in My Lawtrac are configured to hide the Documents from the main matter screen.  Select My Lawtrac \ My Settings and access the Matter tab.  Note that this option will HIDE the chosen items from the main matter screen.  Simply uncheck the box and save the change.  Then refresh your screen using the browser's Refresh option and the section should now be visible on the main  matter screen.  

If you continue to have a problem, please confirm with the Lawtrac Administrator that this section is not omitted from the chosen matter type's screen in the Administration module.
