Create ACLs for Data Definitions
By default, users do not have access to Data Definitions. Therefore, once you have created the Data Definition and Published it, you must configure access.
There are a number of ways of configuring access to a Data Definition:
- Configure Access Controls for each individual Data Definition, as required (see “Configure ACLs For a Data Definition”).
- Configure the default Data Definition Access Controls and then edit the Access Controls for the Data Definitions that require any changes (see “Configure Default Data Definition ACLs”).
- Create Categories, configure the required Access Controls for each Category and then assign the Data Definitions to the appropriate Categories. (New Categories can also be configured with default Category Access Controls, if required.) See “Configure Data Definition Categories”
